Boys & Girls Clubs of America has named Damon A. Williams as its new senior vice president of Program, Training & Youth Development Services.
Williams joins BGCA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he served as vice provost and chief diversity officer, and on the faculty of the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. Williams brings more than 16 years of experience in youth development, organizational design and strategic planning. Williams succeeds retired senior vice president and 25-year BGCA veteran Judith J. Pickens. He will begin his new appointment on August 30.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America named Ronald Gidwitz as chairman for a two-year term. Gidwitz succeeds Emil Brolick, president and CEO of Wendy's, as chairman of the company. He co-founded GCG Partners in 1998. Before that, he led several departments for Helene Curtis.
