Boockvar currently serves as Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations at Weight Watchers, where he has a broad portfolio of duties including responsibility for meeting the needs of over a million Weight Watchers members a week across 20,000 locations and overseeing approximately 20,000 employees. Boockvar joined Weight Watchers in 2002 as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel and steadily moved up the ranks, serving as Vice President of Operations and Sales and later Senior Vice President for Global Business Development.
Girl Scouts Of The United States Of America announced the appointment of Maggie Miller, whose senior-level information technology experience spans both the United Kingdom and the United States, as chief information officer. Miller will play a key role in developing and deploying the organization's technology strategy as the company seeks to reach more girls and adult volunteers. Miller was senior vice president and CIO at Warner Music Group, where she was responsible for the company's global IT function. In addition to transforming the company's processes and systems for the digital era, Miller oversaw the expansion of its Web businesses and e-commerce capability. Prior to joining Warner Music, she held the CIO post at J. Sainsbury plc From 1997 to 2001, she served as vice president and CIO for Dell Europe/Middle East/Asia.
Girl Scouts Of The United States Of America announced that Nhadine Leung has been appointed Chief of Staff. Leung is a lawyer with experience in organizational change, community economic development, real estate law and investment banking. Most recently, Leung headed her own consulting practice focused on strategic direction-setting for innovative nonprofits. Previously, she served as Chief Operating Officer of Living Cities, a 22-member consortium of the world's large philanthropic and institutions that invest in improving the lives of low-income people and the cities where they live. She also led the Urban Assets Initiative at New Profit, a national venture philanthropy fund that invests in growing high-impact social enterprises. In addition to her nonprofit experience, Leung practiced law at Weil Gotshal & Manges in New York and Warsaw, and was trained as an investment banker, working for Manufacturers Hanover and Chemical Bank in New York.
