Oklahoma Baptist University Names Sandra Bradley as Director of the Intensive English Program

Oklahoma Baptist University has named Sandra Bradley as director of the Intensive English Program. Bradley began work May 8, 2013 on Bison Hill. Bradley previously served as both director and director of admissions at The Language Company in Shawnee and Ada, Okla., where she worked with international representatives, provided oversight for the quality and integrity of the curriculum, supervised staff and fulfilled other managerial duties. She also advised students on academic, immigration and personal issues.

Oklahoma Baptist University Appoints Blake Decker as Director of Assessment

Oklahoma Baptist University has appointed Blake Decker as director of assessment. Decker began his new role on Bison Hill on May 1, 2013. At OBU, the director of assessment provides leadership for university functions as related to the assessment of student learning on campus, designs quantitative and qualitative studies, analyzes data, and reports results on issues of university-wide importance. With staff support, the director gathers data and submits reports required by federal and state agencies, accreditation and other entitles. The position provides support for OBU's program review and strategic planning processes. Decker came to OBU from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where he served as director of partnership effectiveness for the College Ready in Mathematics and Physics Partnership.

Stogsdill Joins Oklahoma Baptist University as Director of Development for Texas

Thomas Stogsdill joined as director of development Oklahoma Baptist University for Texas. He previously served as vice president for development and campaign director for The University of South Dakota Foundation in Vermillion, S.D. He has served as executive director of development for Mississippi State University; vice president and campaign director for Elon University in North Carolina; and vice president for development at Wingate College, also in North Carolina.
