To further advance the development of next generation wireless broadband front-end solutions, SkyCross unveiled new offerings for wireless device manufacturers and service providers, including VersiTune-LTE+Wi-Fi, the tunable LTE plus Wi-Fi antenna solution for multi-band communications; a high-performance NFC product line; and the SkyCross Innovation Partnership Program (SIPP). SkyCross will showcase its offerings at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013 event, to be held in Barcelona, Spain February 25 - 28, 2013. There is growing momentum toward the adoption of NFC technology on mobile devices. In fact, a recent projection from ABI Research forecasts shipments of 285 million NFC-enabled devices in 2013, most of them smartphones. To address this anticipated demand, SkyCross unveiled its new, high-performance NFC product offerings, the SkyCross NFC FlexAntenna and the SkyCross NFC BatteryBack. As with other SkyCross products based on its iMAT(R) technology, the new NFC solutions provide the performance while also enabling very thin form factors. The company is currently shipping samples with several new projects underway. Additionally, following its launch of the VersiTune-LTE Antenna with MatchTune(TM) technology at CES 2013, SkyCross revealed its VersiTune-LTE+Wi-Fi technology platform, which delivers the industry's first tunable LTE plus Wi-Fi antenna solution for multi-band advanced LTE devices in a single antenna structure. The addition of Wi-Fi support, while providing adequate isolation from higher-frequency LTE signals, is an unprecedented industry feat and enables smartphones and tablets to be tuned to a broad range of frequencies without the need for multiple antenna structures. This results in the ability to build a single model SKU that is smaller and sleeker. SkyCross is currently working with reference design partners to bring this solution into product form.

SkyCross, Inc. announced that the company enjoyed 30% year-over-year revenue growth from 2011 to 2012, as well as greater than 80% in the fourth quarter of 2012 revenue growth over the fourth quarter of 2011. The company also announced that it has reached profitability. THe company has named Bob Giometti, an accomplished wireless industry professional with more than 20 years of product strategy experience, including design, development, quality and optimization, as vice president of R&D and Engineering. In this role, Giometti will apply his system-level expertise to set SkyCross' overall technical vision, strategy and execution for the product roadmaps and product delivery. Prior to joining the company, Giometti served as senior director of Engineering for Motorola Mobile Devices, where he led a team of electrical, mechanical, and software engineers and project managers that implemented technical solutions for highly complex Android-based 4G, LTE, WCDMA, and 3G/UMTS products. He also oversaw the electrical development and product integration of the ultra-thin original Motorola RAZR, and worked previously as engineering section manager for Motorola's Cellular Infrastructure Division. In addition to increasing manufacturing capacity at its facilities in Taoyuan, Taiwan and Shenzhen and Shanghai, China, SkyCross has appointed Amanda Jiang as general manager of Greater China. Jiang has more than 10 years of management experience within the antenna industry, including business development, R&D, supply chain, customer service and logistics management. Prior to the company, Jiang was general manager of Ethertronics' China R&D center, handling day-to-day operations as well as business development, R&D management and supply chain management. Before Ethertronics, Jiang spent five years with Shanghai Amphenol Airwave, where she managed key accounts including Nokia and Huawei, and also supervised R&D groups in Shanghai and Beijing.

SkyCross, Inc. announced the opening of new corporate headquarters in Fremont, Calif., expansion of its manufacturing capacity. The company has moved its corporate headquarters from Viera, Fla. to Fremont, Calif., in order to be closer to Silicon Valley and its sales and manufacturing facilities in Asia. SkyCross' Florida offices will become an R&D facility and SkyCross' Greater China and Korea operations will remain full design and manufacturing facilities. In addition, SkyCross has increased its manufacturing capacity in both of its factories in Greater China and Korea, augmenting its reliable support of market-leading customers in their worldwide product launches. In conjunction with this capacity increase, SkyCross now has full LDS capability in both factories. To assist in managing the company's growth, SkyCross has named Warren H. Weiner as chief financial officer. Previously, Weiner served as CFO of Paratek Microwave, Inc., where he negotiated strategic relationships, initiated cost-saving measures and led the company to its acquisition by Research In Motion. To assist with the company's market and product strategy as it moves into advanced communication solutions, the company has appointed John Marshall as chief marketing officer. Prior to SkyCross, John Marshall served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for SiBEAM, Inc.
