Atlantic Cape Community College's board of trustees met July 23 and approved personnel matters, contracts and purchases. In Personnel Action: The board approved these appointments: Andre Richburg of Hackettstown, director, Recruitment and Admissions, effective Aug. 6. Linda Palmer of Hammonton, director, Worthington Atlantic City Support Services, effective Aug. 5. The board accepted the resignation of Alonna Brown of Philadelphia, assistant director, Student Support Services, effective July 26.

Atlantic Cape Community College Announces Management Changes Effective Jan. 1, 2013

Atlantic Cape Community College announced that trustee Brian Lefke introduced the nomination of trustee Robert Boyer of Villas as treasurer and the board voted to approve him for the post. Boyer, former board chairperson and retired banking executive, will serve until November, 2013, with the slate of officers approved last month. Following the recent retirement of the Director of Student Services for the college's Atlantic City and Cape May County campuses, the board took these actions "to more efficiently allocate personnel resources": Promoted Nancy Porfido of Egg Harbor City, from director, student development and judicial officer, to director, student development and judicial officer (new pay grade), effective Jan. 1, 2013. Reassigned Cynthia Correa of Galloway, from associate director, student development, to assistant director, Worthington Atlantic City Campus Student Services, effective Jan. 1, 2013. Changed the title of Tammy DeFranco of Marmora, from assistant director, WACC and Cape May County Campus Student Services, to assistant director, CMCC Student Services, effective Jan. 1, 2013.
