The Canadian Press introduced the next phase of its mobile venture with the launch of English and French news applications optimized for BlackBerry(R) smartphones from Research In Motion. Canada's trusted news leader partnered with CTVglobemedia, Torstar, Transcontinental and The Associated Press to unveil the country's most comprehensive news app, now available as a paid download on BlackBerry App World(TM). The Canadian Press Mobile is Canada's first app to automatically load and refresh the latest local, national and international news from many trusted sources all in one place, available for an introductory price of CAD 3.69 ($2.99) for a one-year subscription. Users can quickly and easily view, search, save, share and rate news and photos personalised to their choice of postal codes and topics-without having to set up RSS feeds or visit multiple news sites.
