N.V. Luchthaven Schiphol reported consolidated earnings results for the first half of 2014. For the period, the company reported revenue of EUR 712,432,000 compared with EUR 649,710,000 for the same period last year. N.V. Luchthaven Schiphol announced that Birgit Otto (50) has been appointed the new Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer of the Schiphol Group Management Board with effect from September 1, 2014. She will be succeeding Ad Rutten, who has held this position since 2005 and will be retiring on this date. Birgit Otto is currently the Director of Airport Operations and has been at Schiphol Group since 2001, having previously worked at Nedlloyd.

Schiphol Group reported earnings results for the year 2013. For the year, the company’s net revenue up by 2.2% to €1,382 million. EBITDA up by 9.8% to €587 million. Operating result up by 8.2% to €321 million and net result of €227 million, an increase of 14.5% which is in mainly due to results from real estate valuations and a lower effective tax rate.
