INDUS Corporation Key Developments
INDUS Corporation announced that it has been awarded the National Institute of Health Information Acquisition and Assessment Center Chief Information Officer - Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Government-wide Acquisition Contract. A CIO-SP3 Unrestricted Contract was awarded to INDUS as the leader of the Health Informatics and Information Technology Solutions Contractor Team Arrangement. HIITS CTA is a strategic union of INDUS, a successful mid-tier Health IT firm, and two high quality small and disadvantaged Health IT firms - Digital Infuzion Inc., and Armedia, LLC. Under this 10-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract valued up to $20 billion for all awardees, INDUS, Digital Infuzion, and Armedia can compete for individual task orders to provide a wide range of services including: IT services for biomedical research, health sciences and healthcare, imaging, IT operations and maintenance, integration services, and software development. The CIO-SP3 GWAC gives Government agencies a way to order IT solutions and services at reasonable prices and focus on the accountability goals of the Federal Health Architecture, allowing Federal Agencies to coordinate effective capital planning activities; invest in and implement interoperable health IT; and provide IT services designed to support the Federal Enterprise Architecture and the DoD Enterprise Architecture.
INDUS Corporation announced the appointment of Esther Burgess to the position of Vice President, GWAC/IDIQ Programs. In this position, Ms. Burgess will be responsible for leveraging INDUS' GWAC and IDIQ contracts to help fuel the company's growth in the Federal information technology market.
INDUS Corporation announced that it has opened a new regional office in Research Triangle Park (RTP) at Morrisville, N.C. The newest Office in RTP enables INDUS to work closely with these small businesses and others and to be more accessible to its customers, NIEHS and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In addition, with INDUS' staff in the RTP area doubling over the past year, the INDUS RTP Office will also be able to better support the growing staff.
