Edeniq, Inc. Signs Letter of Intent with Global Bio-Chem Technology Group Company Limited to Develop and Commercialize Corn Stover to Industrial Sugars Conversion Technology

Edeniq, Inc. signed a letter of intent with Global Bio-chem Technology Group Company Limited to develop and commercialize processes to convert corn stover to industrial sugars for use in the production of chemicals, fuels, and other bio-based products. Pursuant to the letter of intent, Edeniq and Global Bio-chem intend to integrate their technologies in a commercial demonstration plant to produce 50,000 metric tons per year of industrial sugars from corn stover, and subsequently to form a joint venture to further develop and commercialize their technology platform. Global Bio-chem is currently working on modification of corn stover, consisting of leaves, stalks and cobs of corn at its facility in the Jilin Province of China.
Flint Hills Resources Renewables, LLC Increases Adoption of Edeniq's Cellunator Proprietary Technology

Edeniq, Inc. announced that Flint Hills Resources Renewables, LLC, will expand its use of Edeniq's Cellunator(TM) proprietary technology. Flint Hills has confirmed that the Cellunators(TM) have achieved the desired increase in ethanol production at its Fairbank, Iowa facility and the company will install Cellunators(TM) at two additional locations. Edeniq's Cellunator(TM) enables ethanol plants to mill corn and other plant materials into a well-mixed slurry of small, uniformly-sized feedstock that can be more easily converted into sugars needed to produce biofuels and other biomaterials.
Edeniq Selects Members for Science and Technology Advisory Board

Edeniq announced that it has formed a Science and Technology Advisory Board (STAB). The seven-member board will provide strategic guidance and insights based on their areas of expertise. The STAB consists of seven members who bring together experience and expertise from world class organizations across many different industries, as well as an unusual diversity of perspectives -academic, industrial, scientific, technological development, engineering, business, and manufacturing operations. STAB members include: Paul Bryan, Leo E. Manzer, Harvey W. Blanch, William Brandt, John D. Rice, Neal Jakel and Jefferson W. Tester.
