Home Federal Bank announced on May 16, 2013, that Sanya Allmaras has been appointed as director of bank operations. In her new role, Allmaras will provide leadership and strategic oversight of the bank's operations team consisting of loan servicing, deposit operations, electronic banking, facilities, retail operations, fraud investigation, Bank Secrecy Act compliance and the business lending center. Home Federal Bank has shuttered four of its branches in Oregon, the (Medford, Ore.). The closed Oregon branches include the branch in south Medford, two Bend branches and one in Grants Pass. The branches were bought as part of a 2010 FDIC-assisted transaction. Len Williams, Home Federal's president and CEO, attributed the closure of these branches to the increased use of electronic banking by customers.
