The Association for Financial Professionals Announces Management Promotions

The Association for Financial Professionals announced promotions to its senior staff Jeff Glenzer and Patrick Culkin. Jeff Glenzer, CTP, has been promoted to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. A former treasury executive, Glenzer will be responsible for leading, developing and overseeing the execution of AFP content strategies in support of AFP's global mission. Glenzer will also oversee the execution of strategic initiatives while leading AFP's product development, educational programming, public policy and communication departments. Patrick Culkin, SPHR, BSP, has been promoted to Vice President, Strategy and Human Resources. In his new position, Culkin will be responsible for leading and developing AFP's global strategic plan, developing and overseeing the execution of talent strategies that align with AFP core values and strategic initiatives, and supervise the execution of AFP marketing and meetings functions, including AFP's annual conference.

Association For Financial Professionals, Inc. Appoints Nilly Essaides as Director-Practitioner Content Development

Association For Financial Professionals, Inc. has tapped Nilly Essaides, a 20-year veteran of the global treasury management arena, to be Director-Practitioner Content Development. Essaides brings over 20 years of experience in treasury management research, content development and meeting moderation to AFP's global offerings. Previously, Essaides was managing director at the NeuGroup, where she pioneered the company's peer group model, was instrumental in launching new groups, and served as long-time editor of the International Treasurer publication. She has also worked for The Economist Intelligence Unit and The Thomson Corporation.

Association For Financial Professionals, Inc. Elects Susan Glass as Chairman

Susan Glass, CTP, Global Cash Manager at Hallmark Cards, Inc. has assumed the chairmanship of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) Board of Directors. She was elected last month by the AFP membership at the AFP Annual Conference in Miami to serve a two-year term. Glass has been a member of AFP since 1995 and a director on the AFP Board since 2006 where she has served as Vice Chairman, Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee as well as Vice Chairman, Secretary and Chairman of the Policy Committee. In her role as Chairman of the Board, she is also Chairman of AFP's Strategic Planning Committee and the Strategic Alliance Committee.
