Nlyte Software Appoints Mark Gaydos as Chief Marketing Officer

Nlyte Software announced that it has expanded its executive management team, hiring Mark Gaydos, former SVP for Engine Yard as Nlyte's CMO. Gaydos is an enterprise software veteran with extensive experience establishing company leadership in new markets and creating strong revenue growth. In the newly created role, he will be responsible for leading Nlyte's global marketing strategy as the company seeks to capitalize on the growing worldwide demand for DCIM solutions that drive greater data center efficiency and management across the IT spectrum. Gaydos joins Nlyte with more than 20 years of experience at other enterprise software and industry giants.

Nlyte Software Unveils Smart Blueprints™ for Data Center Infrastructure Management

Nlyte Software announced the release of breakthrough Smart Blueprints™ technology that enables IT to create and share any portion of a data center’s designs. The Nlyte Smart Blueprints technology is in direct response to users’ requests for advanced intelligent provisioning. This new technology gives data center professionals unmatched flexibility to optimize hardware configurations, capture these comprehensive designs and easily reuse or share them with other users. Nlyte Smart Blueprints enables the best practices for existing data center designs to be easily captured and leveraged for future projects. It ensures that organizations maximize the benefits of their expertise and compliance with corporate IT policies. This new technology can be used to capture comprehensive designs that include materials, configurations, connectivity information, and three-dimensional visual representations of blueprints - at any level of granularity. Common designs for Nlyte Smart Blueprints are: Highly configurable chassis-based devices which require individual blades, NICs and other modules; Fully contained or functional racks, e.g. compute, mail or storage services; Compilation of multiple functions that are individually housed in complete racks or rows; Replication of entire pod-level designs for dense computing or storage intensive applications. These Nlyte Smart Blueprints, which users can design and optimize, are ultimately saved as completely new composite material types. They can then be reused by the entire organization across the IT infrastructure, no matter how large or complex, like any other asset in the data center.

Nlyte Software Announces Release of Next Wave of ITSM Connectors

Nlyte Software announced the release of the next wave of ITSM connectors which allow users of the Nlyte DCIM suite to tightly connect with the industry's most popular change management and CMDB products. Nlyte's programming-free connector framework now supports HP's Service Manager change management solution, ServiceNow's Configuration Management CMDB and includes an update to its popular BMC Remedy Change Management ticketing system. IT professionals are looking to quantify their service delivery platforms. Service delivery requires precise understanding of the cost of each component required to deliver each service, and these components extend down to the physical infrastructure. Thus, customers are seeking an extended single view of their entire IT infrastructure, and by connecting with their existing ITSM investments in ServiceNow, HP or BMC, Nlyte can meet these customer needs. Nlyte's integration with leading CMDB and change management solutions provides data center managers with a centralized view into the IT workflows of physical, logical and virtual assets.
