VH1 Names Susan Levison as Executive Vice President, Original Programming & Production

Susan Levison has been tapped to lead VH1's creative development team as Executive Vice President, Original Programming & Production, it was announced by Tom Calderone, President, VH1 to whom she will report. Based in Los Angeles, Levison will oversee all current VH1 original programming and development for both of the East and West coasts as well as celebrity talent development. Levison comes to VH1 having generated multiple successes as a producer and an executive in a variety of reality and scripted formats for national broadcast and cable television networks including FOX, Bravo, TruTV, VH1 and Yahoo. Levison's appointment comes as VH1 posts a strong summer in primetime ratings fueled by "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta," the #1 cable reality series of the summer among adults 18-49, and "Hit The Floor," currently this summer's #1 new scripted series on basic cable among adults 18-49 and women 18-49. Levison joins VH1 from FishBowl Worldwide Media where she was Executive Vice President, Head of Creative Affairs.

Starz Worldwide Distribution Finalizes International Television Distribution Agreement with VH1

Starz Worldwide Distribution, a division of Starz, has finalized an international television distribution agreement with VH1 for the upcoming 2013 VH1 TV series, "Hit the Floor," previously known as "Bounce." The TV series will contain ten one-hour episodes in its first season. Starz Worldwide Distribution will represent "Hit the Floor" to all markets for television, excluding the United States. The series will be available for licensing at the start of MIPTV, which runs from April 8-April 11 in Cannes, France.

Video Hits One Appoints Caralene Robinson as Senior Vice President, Creative Group and Consumer Marketing

Video Hits One has named Caralene Robinson Senior Vice President, Creative Group and Consumer Marketing. Robinson will be responsible for the face of VH1 each time the network interacts with consumers through all off-channel branding efforts. She will oversee all consumer outreach which includes the channel's music marketing, VH1 Digital marketing and on-air image/promo teams as well as all consumer and trade advertising that VH1 creates and places. Most recently, Robinson was Vice President, Brand Strategy and Marketing Communications at Sprint Nextel, where she led all marketing efforts including brand, integrated marketing, production, creative services and social media for all Sprint brands.
