South Jersey Energy Solutions Announces Executive Promotions

Michael J. Renna, president and COO of South Jersey Industries announced organizational changes within South Jersey Energy Solutions. Gregory M. Nuzzo was named president of South Jersey Energy Group. In this new role, he will be responsible for South Jersey Energy and South Jersey Resources Group. David Robbins, Jr. was named president of South Jersey Energy Services. In this new role, he will be responsible for on-site energy production within Marina Energy and Energenic; for appliance service repairs under South Jersey Energy Service Plus; and meter reading under Millennium Account Services. Robbins will also oversee the sales, business development and marketing functions of SJES. Jason W. Foulds was promoted to assistant vice president of South Jersey Resources Group. In this position he will be responsible for overseeing wholesale natural gas marketing and operations.

South Jersey Energy Solutions, LLC Announces Organizational Changes and Executive Promotions

Edward J. Graham, chairman, president and CEO of South Jersey Industries (SJI) and Michael J. Renna, president of South Jersey Energy Solutions, LLC, announced, on behalf of the board of directors, several organizational changes effective January 1, 2013 at South Jersey Energy Solutions (SJES). The following appointments are part of a structured succession plan that the board is implementing over the long-term to ensure SJI's continued success well into the future. Graham announced the appointment of Michael J. Renna to the executive committee of the SJES board of directors. Renna joined SJI in 1998. David Robbins, Jr. was appointed senior vice president and chief operating officer, retail. In his new position, Robbins will direct the financial and operational performance of South Jersey Energy and South Jersey Energy Service Plus. Robbins joined SJI in 1997. Kenneth A. Lynch was appointed chief accounting officer and treasurer. In this position, Lynch will oversee all aspects of the company's accounting and financial reporting functions as well as serve as primary advisor to management on US GAAP, financial disclosure and internal control matters. Lynch joined SJI in 2003. In addition to the executive promotions, several other employees were promoted within the company's non-regulated businesses. Joseph M. Scheufele was promoted to executive vice president and managing director, Energenic business development. Energenic is a partnership between Marina Energy and DCO Energy. In his new position, Scheufele will oversee business development efforts at Energenic in addition to consultation to SJES senior executives. Scheufele joined SJI in 1979. William Deter was promoted to vice president, Pennsylvania Division. In this position, Deter will oversee all of the natural gas and electric marketing in Pennsylvania. Deter joined SJI in 2006 when the company purchased Open Flow Energy's natural gas marketing, supply, transportation and storage contracts. Paul M. Straub was promoted to director, accounting. In his new position, Straub will direct the activities, scheduling and work assignments of the general ledger and financial reporting functions of SJES. In addition, Straub was named treasurer of SJES subsidiaries including Marina Energy, South Jersey Energy, South Jersey Energy Service Plus and South Jersey Resources Group. Straub joined SJG in 1984. Stacey M. Barnes was promoted to general manager, marketing and business expansion. In this position, Barnes will oversee all administrative aspects of retail marketing, business development and geographical expansion as well as strategic planning, marketing, sales coordination and customer enrollments. Barnes joined SJG in 2008. Richard Gallagher was promoted to general manager sales and business development. In this position, Gallagher will manage the sales and business development efforts for the retail group within SJES covering the industrial, food processing, health care, gaming (commercial and tribal), federal, state and tribal government markets. Gallagher joined SJI in 2006.
