Gamma Medica Selects WatchDox for Secure Collaboration with External Partners, Contractors

WatchDox announced that Gamma Medica is using WatchDox to securely share and collaborate on its intellectual property (IP), financial information and clinical data with external parties. With WatchDox, Gamma Medica can safely provide investors, vendors and partners with real-time access to mission-critical information through desktop and mobile devices, while maintaining control over the files wherever they end up. This not only helps Gamma Medica meet strict Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance regulations, but it also protects against legal fines and other complications associated with IP and clinical data loss. Gamma Medica uses WatchDox for several purposes, including as a virtual data room to share files with investors. This information includes clinical information, 510k medical device forms and a variety of other confidential files. Additionally, Gamma Medica relies on WatchDox to collaborate on design documents with external contractors. Users appreciate the simple, intuitive interface and the ability to collaborate and share files on mobile devices using the WatchDox mobile app.

WatchDox Introduces Content Connectors for Cloud Storage Services

WatchDox announced the availability of Cloud Content Connectors, which extend its data-centric protections to files created or stored in cloud storage repositories. WatchDox Cloud Content Connectors enable users to access and share all their files from a single interface across all platforms. WatchDox will soon offer its Cloud Content Connector for Google Drive with additional services forthcoming. WatchDox Cloud Content Connector for Google Drive allows users to send a file to any recipients using WatchDox data-centric protections, including access controls, watermarking and tracking. Similarly, WatchDox users can see Google Drive as one of their repositories alongside their own WatchDox workspaces, sync folders, SharePoint, file shares and anything else that's connected. To ensure security, WatchDox only allows one-way traffic from Google Drive into WatchDox. WatchDox Cloud Content Connector provides several additional productivity and security benefits, including: Secure external sharing -- provides any level of control, including full digital rights management, watermarking, and revocation from any device, for files shared outside the organization. Mobile productivity -- enables comprehensive mobile productivity with the ability to annotate, edit and stream files from every repository. Syncing -- Content Connectors are built to do sophisticated syncing of metadata, enabling WatchDox to preserve access and permissions without copying files to the WatchDox server. Unlike other connectors built with older technologies, WatchDox Content Connectors work offline and keep files in sync even when they move or are renamed.

WatchDox Partners with Fjord IT to Deliver European-Based Green, Mobile Enterprise Collaboration

WatchDox announced a partnership with Fjord IT. Together, Fjord IT and WatchDox offer sustainability and security to enterprises in Scandinavia and Central Europe, who want regionally hosted solutions for both green cloud services and mobile enterprise management and collaboration. With a combination of hydropower and energy efficient technology, Fjord IT delivers a virtual data center that helps customers expand their computing power in a nearly carbon-neutral way. Those customers -- cloud providers, service providers, telcos and large enterprises -- wanted a European hosted, secure alternative to typical file-sync-and-sharing services. By partnering with WatchDox, Fjord IT gives its customers the ability to access, protect, annotate and collaborate with files wherever they go, on every device, even those beyond the enterprise -- in the most sustainable and secure way possible.
