Bank of the Cascades created the position of senior vice president and mortgage regional sales manager and named Jeff Havener to the post. In his new role, Havener will lead the Bend, Ore.-based bank's mortgage loan officers in southern Oregon, northwest Oregon and Idaho. He most recently served as vice president of consumer lending and credit for Medford, Ore.-based PremierWest Bank.

Patricia Moss, the former CEO and president of Cascade Bancorp and Bank of the Cascades, has now made her retirement official. Moss will continue to serve on the board of directors, where she is vice chairwoman, and on several committees. In July 2011, she announced her retirement, effective July 2012, but she remained in a management advisory capacity to help her successor, Terry Zink, current president and CEO.
