MITX Announces Executive Changes

MITX, the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange, announced that Adam Medros, SVP, Global Product at TripAdvisor was named the organization's new Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2014 and will officially assume his new role at the July 22, 2014 board meeting. For the past two years, Adam has served as Vice-Chair of MITX alongside outgoing Chairman Joe Grimaldi. Currently, Adam heads worldwide product development for TripAdvisor. Prior to joining the company in 2004, he held senior analyst and product manager positions at Nordstrom.com, Amazon.com, and The Parthenon Group. MITX also announced the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors. The new members hail from a wide range of industries, all of which represent the marketing and technology core of MITX. The board provides guidance throughout the year to help continue to grow and improve the organization for their members. The new board members include: Faisal Musad, EVP, Global eCommerce, Staples; Ed Macri, SVP, Marketing & Analytics, Wayfair; and Brad Rinklin, CMO, Akamai.

Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange Appoints Amy Quigley as New President

Amy Quigley was named the new president of the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange. As MITX president, Quigley will oversee strategic planning, programming, operations and membership relations for the 7,500-member cross-industry organization. Quigley was previously at Myelin Health in Boston where she was chief marketing officer. Quigley was also vice president, global marketing at iProspect and Continuum, an innovation and design firm. She served as president of the American Marketing Association's Boston Chapter and is a member of the CMO Club. Quigley replaces Debi Kleiman, who served as MITX president for the past three and a half years before taking a leadership position at Havas Media in Boston.
