National Restaurant Association Announces Executive Appointments

The National Restaurant Association announced the appointment of two new officers to its Supply Chain Management Executive Study Group.
David D. Cox, President of ARCOP Inc. (Arbys Supply Chain Cooperative) has been elected Chairman, and Steve L. Pattison, Chief Financial Officer and VP of RSI Inc. (Restaurant Services - Burger Kings Independent Purchasing and Distribution Co-op) elected Treasurer. Cox will lead the group for the next two years beginning in January 2014. He succeeds David Parsley, Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management, Brinker International. Pattison will replace Wade Winters, Vice President of Purchasing for Au Bon Pain as Treasurer. In addition to the appointment of Cox and Pattison, leadership includes: Janet Erickson, Brinker International, as Vice Chair, and Charlie Lousignont, Chief Procurement Officer at P.F. Changs, as Secretary. The groups steering committee also includes: Mark Avery - Director, International Supply Chain Management, Applebees. Ron Burks - Senior Vice President, International Sourcing and Pizza Hut National Purchasing Co-op Inc., UFPC, LLC. Dean Gordon - Division Vice President, Purchasing, Jack in the Box. Stan Harvey - Senior Vice President, Global Procurement, The Cheesecake Factory Inc. George Hoffman - President and Chief Executive Officer, RSI Inc. Evan S. Nash, C.P.M., C.P.H.S., A.P.P. - Director of Purchasing, Johnson and Wales University. Matthew Riddleberger - Vice President of Supply Chain Services, Firehouse of America, LLC. Joe Schechinger - Senior Director, Commodity Risk Management, Wendys /QSCC Inc. Rif W. Wiguna, C.P.M. - Vice President, Supply Chain Management, Panda Restaurant Group Inc. The National Restaurant Association announced that it has partnered with GuestMetrics, LLC on business intelligence solutions designed exclusively for the hospitality industry that will help member restaurants with both revenue generation and cost management. National Restaurant Association Announces Partnership with Mopro to Help Restaurateurs Build Their Online Presence

The National Restaurant Association announced an official partnership with Mopro, an organization with extensive expertise in helping restaurants build their businesses online. The partnership gives National Restaurant Association members exclusive access to the full Mopro package -- 11 digital products and services in one bundle -- at a $1,200 discount. NRA members can sign up for the full package for $199, rather than the regular $1,399 setup fee, with a $199 monthly subscription subsequently. An estimate for all the offerings in the package would typically cost between $10,000 to $15,000 and require multiple providers.
