Michele Wucker, president of the World Policy Institute, will join The Chicago Council on Global Affairs in September 2014 as its new vice president of studies. She will spearhead The Chicago Council's efforts to generate new ideas and influence policy debates in the United States and abroad. As vice president of studies for The Chicago Council, she will focus on increasing the range and depth of the Council's substantive contributions in its research focus areas, including public opinion, global cities, global economy, global energy, immigration and global security.

The Chicago Council on Global Affairs Appoints Glenn F. Tilton as Executive Vice Chairman

The Chicago Council on Global Affairs announced that Glenn F. Tilton, chairman of the Midwest for JPMorgan Chase, has been named executive vice chairman of its board of directors. Tilton will eventually succeed Lester Crown as chairman of the Council's board. Crown has served as chairman of The Chicago Council since 2004. Until December 2012, Tilton, 65, also served as non-executive chairman of the board of directors of United Continental Holdings Inc., following the merger between United and Continental Airlines in 2010.
