City National Bank announced that it has opened a new banking office in Pleasanton as part of a continued expansion in Northern California that allows the bank to better serve clients throughout the region. City National's newest branch will serve high-net-worth individuals and businesses in Pleasanton as well as the Tri-Valley market of San Ramon, Livermore, Dublin and Danville.

City National Bank has appointed John Wilcox as its new Nevada Regional Executive following Larry Charlton's retirement at the end of last month. Wilcox, 57, assumes this new position with more than 31 years of experience in the banking industry in Nevada. Wilcox continues to also serve as the regional banking manager for Core Banking overseeing City National's branches in the Nevada/San Diego Region. Wilcox joined City National in 2009 as the Nevada regional banking manager for Core Banking. As the Nevada regional executive, Wilcox will report to Chris Warmuth, president of City National Bank. In this capacity Wilcox will be responsible for coordinating City National's client service, business development and marketing activities in Nevada. He will work very closely with senior executives of other areas of the bank, including Private Client Services, Wealth Management, Commercial Banking Services, the Real Estate Division as well as other areas of the bank. He will also be responsible for the bank's advisory boards in southern and northern Nevada. Prior to joining City National, Wilcox served as president of the Commercial Banking Division of Irwin Union Bank, based in Columbus, Indiana.

City National Bank announced that Raymond J. DeRiggi has joined Entertainment in New York as a senior vice president and senior relationship manager as part of its growing team there. DeRiggi will serve business management firms, athletes and agents as well as related family offices in New York, offering City National clients a full range of financial solutions, including custom credit, wealth management and trust options. He will report to Stephanie Dalton, senior vice president and team leader for Entertainment in New York. Prior to joining the company, DeRiggi was most recently a senior vice president and relationship manager for PNC Bank in New Jersey for nearly 20 years. He joined PNC from Chase Manhattan Bank in New York, where he was a vice president and relationship manager for more than six years. He also worked at Smith Barney and Citibank in New York.
