Auction.com Announces Jeff Epstein to its Board of Directors

Auction.com has added former Oracle Chief Financial Officer Jeff Epstein to its board of directors. Epstein, who will chair the Audit Committee, is the second high profile addition to the Auction.com board, joining a representative from Google Capital. Epstein is an operating partner at Bessemer Venture Partners and a senior advisor at Oak Hill Capital Partners. He serves on the board of directors for Priceline and has participated in its growth from $1 billion to almost $70 billion in market capital. He also serves on the board of Shutterstock. In his former position as executive vice president and CFO of Oracle. Prior to joining Oracle, Epstein served as chief financial officer of several public and private companies, including DoubleClick, which was sold to Google; King World Productions, which was sold to the CBS Corporation; and Nielsen's Media Measurement and Information Group. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker at The First Boston Corporation. He also currently serves on the boards of directors of Kaiser Permanente and Global Eagle Entertainment, and the management board of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Auction.com Partners with NAHREP to Advance Hispanic Homeownership

Auction.com and the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) are joining forces to advance sustainable Hispanic homeownership. NAHREP promotes Hispanic homeownership by educating and empowering the real estate professionals who serve Hispanic buyers and sellers. The partnership will help real estate professionals and their clients take advantage of opportunities to buy and sell through Auction.com. The partnership will support a large-scale education campaign that targets residential brokers and buyers. As part of its ongoing efforts to educate and counsel Hispanic buyers, NAHREP will also offer advice on accessing opportunities available through Auction.com. In addition, it will establish a referral service that connects buyers and their agents to specific assets available through Auction.com. The partnership agreement between Auction.com and NAHREP also includes extensive joint marketing plans, participation at NAHREP's national convention on Oct. 12-14 in Los Angeles, and makes Auction.com a Diamond Lever Partner with NAHREP.

Auction.com, LLC Names Paul Weiskopf as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development

Auction.com, LLC has named Paul Weiskopf, a veteran Silicon Valley corporate strategist, as senior vice president of corporate development. Based in Auction.com's Belmont, Calif. office and reporting to Chief Financial Officer Bruce Felt, Weiskopf is working closely with top executives to plan for the company's continued growth. He was senior vice president of corporate development at Adobe Systems. Weiskopf was also vice president of strategy and corporate development at Hewlett Packard. He has also held senior positions at two e-commerce firms, BenefitPoint and InsWeb, and two management consulting firms, Accenture and LEK.
