Effective January 4, 2010, VocaLINK Ltd. will be organized around three strategic businesses reporting directly into CEO, Marion King, focusing on euro services, clearings and cards. These businesses will serve both the UK market and growth opportunities, especially in Continental Europe. Fred Bar will be managing director of the euro services business. Before joining VocaLink earlier in 2009, Mr. Bar held senior positions at EBA Clearing and Equens. The euro services business is of particular strategic importance for VocaLink as the company evolves to reflect increasing demand for its payment services in the rest of Europe. Nick Masterson-Jones who has been with VocaLink since 2003 and who has been in charge of the launch of the faster payments service will be managing director of the clearings business. David Conkleton, who previously held senior roles at EDS and Parity, has recently joined the company and will lead the cards business. The clearing and cards businesses will not only provide operations for existing schemes in the UK such as Bankers' Automated Clearing Services, Faster Payments and Link, but will also be responsible for the commercial growth of these business units in the UK and internationally. The restructuring will allow the company to operate effectively internationally and will center the company around the needs and expectations of its growing customer base. All three managing directors report directly into Mr. King. Martin Wilson, the company's chief commercial officer, has decided to move on to pursue new opportunities outside of the company.

VocaLINK Ltd. has announced that it is working with Krajowa Izba Rozliczeniowa Sa, to establish a bilateral link for the exchange of Single Euro Payments Area credit transfer payments based on the European Automated Clearing House Association interoperability standards. The provision of reciprocal interconnection services between VocaLink's and Krajowa Izba Rozliczeniowa's (KIR's) respective clearing and settlement mechanisms allows the two organizations to mutually exchange Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) compliant payment messages on behalf of their respective clients.

Claire Hafner is the new CFO of VocaLINK Ltd. Hafner joins from Eversheds, where she served as finance director and introduced a global accountant management system, with the lawyers winning the FTís innovation award for its billing and fee offering.
