XCOR Aerospace announced a trio of new senior appointments in the Business Development Team, signaling the continued progress and confidence in the Lynx suborbital spacecraft program. Greg Claxton joins XCOR where he will lead the Retail Sales Channel, Khaki Rodway has been promoted to lead the Payloads Sales Channel, and Lisa Rigano has been hired to lead Product and Customer Experience Development. Greg Claxton joins XCOR Aerospace as Director of Retail Sales to ensure this call to action reaches as many explorers as possible across the globe. Greg will be responsible for overseeing XCOR's "Explorers Wanted." campaign and facilitating the success of the personal spaceflight sales efforts led by general sales agent Space Expedition Corporation and the growing network of high adventure and high end travel agents who are bringing the pinnacle life event of spaceflight to their customers. Greg will also be responsible globally for spaceflight promotional programs which corporations, non-profits and other entities are implementing that use the Lynx suborbital reusable spacecraft. Khaki joined XCOR in 2005 as a government program manager and technical writer. Most recently Khaki has been instrumental in the development of XCOR's "Your Mission. Khaki will also oversee XCOR's contract with NASA's Flight Opportunities Program and XCOR's commercial-focused Payload Sales Channel, which includes global payload integration specialists such as Southwest Research Institute, Spaceflight Services, Planetary Sciences Institute, Space Expedition Corporation of the Netherlands, and Cosmica Spacelines of Toulouse, France, to name a few. Lisa Rigano comes to XCOR as the Director of Product Development and Customer Experience.
Uniktour Inc. announced that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Xcor Aerospace and Space Expedition Corporation (SXC) for the distribution of suborbital flights in the Quebec market. Quebecers can now reserve their place for a unique adventure on a flight to space's frontier, where they will be able to experience weightlessness and admire the Earth's curvature at an altitude of 62KM above the earth.
XCOR Aerospace, Inc. announced that Bryan Campen joined the company as its director of Media and Public Relations. Campen will be responsible for implementing the company's media and public relations strategy. Most recently, Campen served as director of New Media Strategy at Manifest Digital. At Manifest, Campen's responsibilities included strategic development of new media projects with Fortune 100 clients across a range of verticals, including retail health and finance, and direct collaboration with Manifest founders on the internal rebrand in 2011.
