iRise, Inc. Key Developments

iRise, Inc. Announces the Launch of iRise 8.11.2

iRise, Inc. announced the launch of iRise 8.11.2. The platform's upgrade includes key features that streamline the process of visualizing mobile, web and desktop apps for all stakeholders in the software development life cycle. The upgrade introduces new features to the platform including Web Importer Plugin, Project Estimator and Revision Manager as well as usability enhancements to facilitate the building of simulations and creation of reusable assets. The three stand-out features of the new upgrade include: Web Importer Plugin; The Web Importer Plugin allows customers using iRise Studio to import existing web pages directly into the iRise simulation. With a single click, customers can bring in the content of a web page as a high fidelity prototype. This feature is most pertinent if a business analyst or designer wishes to change part of a web or mobile application. Once they have the simulation complete, developers can use iRise CodeGen(TM) to jumpstart standards-based code generation. The Web Importer Plugin and CodeGen dramatically increase productivity and accelerate delivery. Project Estimator; the company launched the Project Estimator to automatically generate industry standard Function Point counts based on simulations. Function Point Analysis is a method for measuring the size and complexity of a software product. It provides an objective, comparative measure that assists in estimating project cost, managing scope, and measuring productivity. Revision Manager; For project managers, developers and quality assurance teams, the Revision Manager automatically captures revisions (or snapshots) of a project on a scheduled or manual basis.

iRise Enterprise Visualization Now a Business Add-on to ASAP Methodology

iRise, Inc. announced its Enterprise Visualization platform, also resold by SAP as SAP(R) Application Visualization software by iRise(R), is now offered as a business add-on to SAP's ASAP methodology. Through this, SAP is encouraging its customers and ecosystem partners to use iRise Enterprise Visualization and SAP Application Visualization to transform software development processes with collaborative iterations of high-fidelity visualizations before any code is written. The iRise Enterprise Visualization platform has proven to simplify communication, mitigate risk, drive buy-in among stakeholders, and ultimately reduce the total cost of enterprise software development. The iRise Enterprise Visualization platform helps ensure a collaborative environment for 'proof of vision.' The iRise(R) solution and SAP Application Visualization are listed as blueprint accelerators in the ASAP methodology for implementation. The iRise solution begins by creating high-fidelity views of requirements that are virtually indistinguishable from the final product, allowing stakeholders to 'test drive' and fully experience applications before they are built. Stakeholders can iterate on these views many times, in real-time, reducing ambiguity in the blueprint phase.
