Genesys Health System Selects PerfectServe to Improve Provider-To-Provider Communication Response Times

As part of a strategy to reduce delays in communication response times among its clinical staff, Genesys Health System has selected PerfectServe, to streamline clinical communications across its organization. The system is anchored by Genesys Regional Medical Center at Health Park, a 410-bed hospital built around a patient-focused care philosophy. Genesys sought a comprehensive clinical communication solution that quickly and appropriately filters and delivers pertinent information to physicians and other providers to ensure timely interaction. Genesys will be implementing PerfectServe Clinician-to-Clinician and PerfectServe DocLink beginning in January 2015. Because PerfectServe lets physicians create a personal algorithm that drives communications to them and their practice based on how, where and when they work, Genesys clinicians will more easily connect to the right provider, in the right way, at the right moment in time. Other hospitals that have implemented the PerfectServe have experienced dramatic reductions in response times, from 46 minutes to 15 minutes, enabling clinicians to get in touch with their colleagues faster, speeding the time to intervention and reducing delays in care.

Advocate Health Care Selects PerfectServe as Enterprise-Wide Clinical Communications Standard

As part of its strategy to improve the coordination of care for its vast patient population, Advocate Health Care has selected PerfectServe, as the standard for streamlining and securing clinical communications across the organization. The larger integrated health system in Illinois, Advocate Health Care covers more than 250 care sites, including 12 hospitals that encompass 11 acute care hospitals, each of which faced unique clinical communications challenges. Advocate sought a comprehensive and flexible unified communications platform that would not only meet the needs of each individual facility, but also connect providers across the wide variety of care settings necessary for the success of the health system's clinical integration strategy. After successful implementations in several of the network's acute care hospitals, Advocate Health Care determined PerfectServe was the system that could most efficiently and effectively streamline and standardize its communication processes. Using rules-based technology, PerfectServe enables more reliable communications processes that make it easy for clinicians to connect with each other. PerfectServe is also being used to inform physicians of important clinical events occurring within its information systems so they can take timely and appropriate action. For example, primary care physicians are securely notified when their patient is discharged from the ED. And physicians ordering pathology results are securely receiving reports on the PerfectServe mobile app and are able to immediately notify the patient of the result. By reducing communication cycle times and easing clinicians' ability to connect with one another, PerfectServe solutions will also enable Advocate to continue to recruit and retain the higher quality primary care and specialty clinicians. The platform is proven to help improve physician satisfaction by connecting clinicians at the right time, via the best mode and with the exact information necessary to make critical care decisions.
