The Israeli company, WaPay, develops payment solutions for the Internet, e-commerce, and m-commerce marketplaces that provide secure, one click purchasing facilities. The solutions are based on wireless communications and do not require credit cards. Users of cellular phones, pagers, and personal digital assistants do not need require additional downloads or hardware to use WaPay’s technology for authenticating and approving payments. The transactions are charged to the customer’s mobile device bill and credited to the vendor’s account.
