Blizzard Entertainment announced that Diablo(R) III: Reaper of Souls, Ultimate Evil Edition(TM) is now available on the PlayStation(R) 3 computer entertainment system, PlayStation(R) 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360(R), and Xbox One(TM). The console-exclusive Ultimate Evil Edition is filled to the brim with action, adventure, and epic loot, it includes all of the content from Blizzard's action role-playing game Diablo III, as well as new features and updates from the critically acclaimed Reaper of Souls expansion, including Adventure Mode, Act V, the Crusader class, leveling to 70, new Legendary loot, new crafting options, and much more. The Ultimate Evil Edition is available now at retail stores and digitally through the PlayStation(R) Store and Xbox Store (Xbox 360 digital version will be available September 18). The Ultimate Evil Edition takes advantage of the unique features of the console platforms. All four console versions of the Ultimate Evil Edition feature 4-player same-screen and online multiplaye whether Sanctuary's heroes are banding together on the same couch or joining the fray via PlayStation(R) Network or Xbox Live, Reaper of Souls makes it easy to experience Diablo in the best way possible: with friends. In addition, players who fought the forces of evil in the original PS3(TM) or Xbox 360 versions of Diablo III are able to continue their crusade against death, including cross-platform support on next-gen consoles. PS3(TM) characters from the original game can be transferred to the PS3(TM), PS4(TM), or Xbox One version of the Ultimate Evil Edition, and Xbox 360 characters can be transferred to the Xbox 360, Xbox One, or PS4(TM) versions. All of this new content comes with the Ultimate Evil Edition, which players can purchase at a suggested retail price of $59.99 for the PS4(TM) or Xbox One, or $39.99 for the PS3(TM) or Xbox 360. Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. and NetEase, Inc. announced an agreement to license Blizzard Entertainment's action role-playing game Diablo III to a NetEase, Inc. affiliate in mainland China. This is the fifth Blizzard game series that the two companies are bringing to mainland China, following StarCraft II, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, and Heroes of the Storm. Diablo III continues the epic Diablo storyline, with players going on a heroic journey to save the world of Sanctuary from the corrupting forces of the Burning Hells. As players adventure through rich and varied settings, they'll engage in pulse-pounding combat with hordes of monsters and challenging bosses, grow in experience and ability, and acquire artifacts of incredible power.

The Markman Hearing for the patent infringement suit by Worlds Inc. against Activision Blizzard, Inc., Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. and Activision Publishing, Inc., has been set by the court for October 3, 2014. The date had been postponed from 2013 due to another unrelated court case and a countersuit by Activision Publishing, Inc., a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc., against Worlds Inc. and Worlds Online, Inc. which was dismissed with prejudice in early June 2014.
