Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. and NetEase, Inc. announced an agreement to license Blizzard Entertainment's action role-playing game Diablo III to a NetEase, Inc. affiliate in mainland China. This is the fifth Blizzard game series that the two companies are bringing to mainland China, following StarCraft II, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, and Heroes of the Storm. Diablo III continues the epic Diablo storyline, with players going on a heroic journey to save the world of Sanctuary from the corrupting forces of the Burning Hells. The Markman Hearing for the patent infringement suit by Worlds Inc. against Activision Blizzard, Inc., Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. and Activision Publishing, Inc., has been set by the court for October 3, 2014. The date had been postponed from 2013 due to another unrelated court case and a countersuit by Activision Publishing, Inc., a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc., against Worlds Inc. and Worlds Online, Inc. which was dismissed with prejudice in early June 2014.
Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase Enter into License Agreement to Bring Heroes of the Storm to Mainland China

Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. and NetEase, Inc. announced an agreement to license Blizzard Entertainment's Heroes of the Storm(TM) to a NetEase, Inc. affiliate in mainland China for a term of three years. Heroes of the Storm will be the fourth Blizzard game brought to China by both companies since 2008. Currently, Blizzard and NetEase collaborate to bring World of Warcraft(R), StarCraft(R) II, and Hearthstone(TM): Heroes of Warcraft(TM), and the Battle.net(R) gaming platform to millions of Chinese gamers.
