The DZ21K Series boasts a powerful 20,000 lumens of brightness from the incorporation of four new 465W UHM lamps. The high brightness is supported by 10,000:1 contrast ratio, Panasonic’s proprietary Detail Clarity Processor 3 engine that brings out the fine details in images, and DICOM Simulation mode for use in medical training. The PT-DZ21K and PT-DS20K are both active 3D stereo projectors expanding the visual impact of the projected images. The supported 3D system is an active shutter system where the projector can be easily equipped with an external emitter via the 3D timing signal IN/OUT terminal. Frame sequential, side by side and top and bottom formats are supported as well as an easy menu to adjust for passive polarized 3D system.
Panasonic Europe Ltd. announced the PT-EZ570 projector series which includes five new models, the PT-EZ570, PT-EW630, PT-EX600, PT-EW530, and PT-EX500. The projectors range in brightness from 4.500 lumens up to 6.000 lumens and resolution is offered in WUXGA (1920x1200), WXGA (1280x800) and XGA (1024 x 768). The series provide long hours of maintenance-free operation, installation flexibility, and low power consumption making it suitable for seminar rooms, multipurpose rooms in education and also for corporate conference rooms. The addition of the EZ570 series brings an attractive combination of exchangeable lens with wide lens shift and affordability to Panasonic’s existing strong line of fixed installation projectors. The EZ570 series delivers superb image quality with its high brightness, WUXGA resolution (PT-EZ570) and the excellent contrast ratio of up to 5.000:1 (PT-EZ570/PT-EW630/PT-EX600). The image quality is further boosted by Panasonic’s proprietary Daylight View Basic feature, where the projector is equipped with a built in ambient light sensor that detects the brightness of the room and adjusts the image quality accordingly. The series provides installation flexibility with its wide lens shift function and four different optional lenses. The projector is equipped with powered lens shift (vertical +/-60%, horizontal +/-10%)*1, zoom and focus, allowing fine adjustments to be made from the remote control when the projector is installed on the ceiling. If necessary, the projectors can provide Corner Keystone Function*2 to easily correct the trapezoidal distortion on the projected image. All models can be purchased with or without a standard lens. “With the motorized vertical and horizontal lens shift combined with four exchangeable lenses that cover a throw ratio range from 1.3:1 to 7.2:1 the projector could be easily positioned in any room. This makes it the perfect product not only for installers planning new equipment for a room but also for a replacement installation where the projector has to fit an existing ceiling pole and cabling. Additionally it offer a 0.8:1 short throw lens which is ideal for rear projection use.” The projectors are equipped with an Eco Filter which does not require cleaning for up to 12.000 hours and has a lamp replacement cycle of up to 4.000 hours. The use of LCD panels with inorganic alignment layers further enhances the overall durability of the projector. With the Intelligent Lamp Control system that automatically adjusts the lamp output in accordance with the brightness of the projected image and the Eco Management feature, overall power consumption on the EZ570 range is significantly reduced. Remote control via network of the EZ570 series is possible using Panasonic’s Multi Monitoring and Control Software. In addition, the projectors include a Side-by-Side feature, 10W speaker, and several terminals including HDMI and DVI-D.
