INFRAERO To Postpone IPO Till 2017

INFRAERO - Empresa Brasileira de Infra-Estrutura Aeroportuaria will postpone its listing plans to 2017 after it bolsters its assets with proceeds from the upcoming auction of licenses to run two airports, INFRAERO’s President, Gustavo do Vale said. INFRAERO is still considering a plan to list shares on Brazil's equity markets but first it wants to strengthen the balance sheet, Vale added. "In order for INFRAERO to go public you have to stabilize its asset base, define the size of the company so you can sell something, we are considering beginning with the process this year and maybe do the listing in 2017," Vale said.

INFRAERO To Seek Foreign Partner

INFRAERO - Empresa Brasileira de Infra-Estrutura Aeroportuaria will seek a foreign partner in first half of 2013 to work hand in hand with INFRAERO through its subsidiary Infraero Serviços. According to Gustavo do Vale, President of INFRAERO, the objective is to form a partnership by June 2013. "Our selection process will be public and with well-defined criteria so to achieve the best possible solution," do Vale said, Valor Econômico reported. The selected company will need to provide services such as air traffic control and airport infrastructure services to be involved as a minority partner.
