AC Milan Denies Report Suggesting Offer From Peter Lim

Associazione Calcio Milan s.p.a. (AC Milan) has denied media reports stating that Peter Lim has made a bid to buy a share of the company. Spanish sports newspaper AS reported that Peter Lim had made a €300 million offer to acquire a 51% stake in AC Milan. Vice-President of AC Milan, Barbara Berlusconi said, “Those reports are without any foundation. The figures that have appeared today (Monday) in the press are not in line with the value of the club. €300 million only represents around 30% of Milan, not 51%.”

Berlusconi May Sell Stake In AC Milan

Silvio Berlusconi is considering selling a stake of between 20% and 30% in Associazione Calcio Milan s.p.a. Barbara Berlusconi, the club's co-Chief Executive told a news conference that the family was seeking partners and she would travel to the Middle East and later to the United States as part of the process. She also said, "We are looking at various solutions for the stadium which would allow us to make a leap forward and compete with the strongest clubs in Europe".

Fininvest Denies Report About AC Milan Sale

Fininvest S.p.A. has denied the media speculation that it is considering selling Associazione Calcio Milan s.p.a. (AC Milan). Bloomberg reported recently that Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi had engaged a company to look for potential buyers for AC Milan. Fininvest stated, “Despite the numerous denials, rumors return to circulate regarding a possible sale of Milan. Fininvest confirms once again that it (rumor) is just a hypothesis without any foundation.”
