Bezeq - The Israel Telecommunication Corp. Ltd. announced that further to the company's immediate report dated September 17, 2011, regarding the filing of an appeal with the Supreme Court on the District Court's ruling which dismissed the claim and a motion to certify the claim as a class action filed against Bezeq International Ltd., the Company's subsidiary, inter alia, on grounds that the Internet access rates had been raised unlawfully (the sum of the claim was ILS 217 Million), the company provided notification that on October 20, 2013, the company received a notice from Bezeq International Ltd., that on October 17, 2013, the Supreme Court issued a ruling dismissing the appeal and upholding the District Court's decision dismissing the claim and the motion to certify the claim as a class action.

Bezeq International Ltd. reported unaudited earnings result for the second quarter ended June 30, 2013. For the quarter, the company’s revenues were ILS 359 million against ILS 330 million a year ago, an increase of 8.8%. The increase in Revenue was primarily due to significant growth in revenues from the sale of business communication and IT solutions (ICT), Internet services delivered across the submarine cable infrastructure and the Power NGN high speed network together with an increase in revenues from the transfer of calls from worldwide telecom operators (Hubbing). Operating profit was ILS 60 million against ILS 53 million a year ago, an increase of 13.7%. EBITDA was ILS 93 million against ILS 87 million a year ago, a increase of 6.1%. Net profit was ILS 44 million against ILS 39 million a year ago, an increase of 12.0%. The increase in profitability metrics was primarily due to growth in revenues from ICT services as well as the continued growth in the number of Internet subscribers and from an increase in revenues from Internet services delivered across the submarine cable infrastructure. Cash flows from operating activities were ILS 81 million against ILS 64 million a year ago, an increase 26.5% primarily due to changes in working capital. Free cash flow amounted to ILS 54 million compared with ILS 29 million in the corresponding quarter of 2012, an increase of 89.3%. The increase in operating and free cash flow was primarily due to the increase in profitability as well as a reduction in capital expenditures as a result of the completion of the submarine cable deployment in the first quarter of 2012.

Bezeq International Ltd. reported unaudited earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2012. For the quarter, the company maintained its high level of EBITDA of ILS 89 million, similar to the corresponding quarter a year ago. The company successfully maintained sequential revenue and profitability levels despite the impact of competition and the regulatory imbalance which characterize the industry. Revenues amounted to ILS 339 million compared with ILS 351 million in the corresponding quarter of 2011, a decrease of 3.5%. The decrease in Revenue was primarily due to the reduction of revenues from international calls offset by the continued growth in sales of the company's Internet services delivered across the submarine cable infrastructure as well as the Power NGN high speed network, which were launched at the beginning of the year. Operating profit amounted to ILS 55 million compared with ILS 61 million in the corresponding quarter of 2011, a decrease of 10.5%. Net profit amounted to ILS 40 million compared with ILS 46 million in the corresponding quarter of 2011, a decrease of 12.3%. The decrease in operating profit and net profit was primarily due to an increase in the company's depreciation expenses as a result of investments in the submarine cable and additional investments in Information and Communication Technology. Capital expenditures amounted to ILS 29 million compared with ILS 85 million in the corresponding quarter of 2011, a decrease of 65.9%. The decrease in CAPEX was primarily due to the completion of the investment in the submarine cable from Israel to Europe in the first quarter of 2012. Cash flow from operating activities amounted to ILS 63 million compared with ILS 57 million in the corresponding quarter of 2011, an increase of 9.9%. The increase was primarily due to positive changes in working capital. Payments for investments, net were ILS 29 million compared to ILS 92 million reported a year ago. Free cash flow was ILS 35 million compared to a negative free cash flow of ILS 34 million reported a year ago.
