Banca d'Italia To Sell Stake In Societa per la Bonifica

Banca d'Italia SpA said that it has launched a sales process for the divestment of its stake in Societa per la Bonifica dei Terreni Ferraresi e per Imprese Agricole SpA (BIT:BF). The process will be open to all Italian and foreign investors who satisfy the set requirements. Banca d'Italia will publish an invitation to potential investors to submit a manifestation of interest for the acquisition of the stake on the websites of Banca d'Italia and Terreni Ferraresi and in several dailies. Leonardo & Co. AG has been engaged by Banca d'Italia to assist Banca d'Italia during the collection of the manifestations of interest and the following stages of the sale procedure.

Banca d'Italia SpA Elects Fabio Panetta as Deputy Director General After Receiving Proposal from the Governor

Banca d'Italia SpA announced that its governing board has elected Fabio Panetta as Deputy Director General after receiving proposal from the Governor. Between 2007 and 2011, Panetta served as Head of Bank of Italy's Center for the Study of the Economic Situation and Monetary Policy and then appointed as Official General and entrusted with the task of coordinating activities connected with Bankitalia's participation in the Euro system and with the analysis of Italy's financial stability. It is stated that the appointment, decided in compliance with Art. 17 of the Bank's Statutes, will become effective on the date of the approval decree issued by the President of the Republic upon the petition of the Prime Minister in agreement with the Minister of Economy and Finance after having heard the opinion of the Cabinet.
