SCVNGR, Inc. Key Developments

The National Federation of the Blind of Massachusetts Works with SCVNGR, Inc. to Make Mobile Payment Application, LevelUp Fully Accessible to Blind Smartphone Users

The National Federation of the Blind of Massachusetts (NFBMA) worked with SCVNGR, Inc. to make SCVNGR's mobile payment application, LevelUp, fully accessible to smartphone users who are blind or have low vision. LevelUp allows users of iOS and Android devices to make payments and receive special offers and promotions from participating merchants by using their smartphone and a credit or debit card linked to their LevelUp account. As an app that is now fully accessible, LevelUp works with the built-in text-to-speech screen-reading software contained on all Apple and many Android smartphones so that blind people can use the app independently.

LevelUp and First Trade Union Bank Develop Revolutionary Custom Mobile Payment and Loyalty App

First Trade Union Bank (FTUB) is joining the mobile payment revolution by creating its own custom-branded payment and loyalty app with LevelUp. This partnership makes FTUB the first bank to introduce a LevelUp-powered mobile payment solution, giving its customers access to the merchant network in the country. The new app, currently under development, will combine the best parts of LevelUp's technology with customers' existing FTUB mobile banking suite of applications, allowing them to pay with their phones at any LevelUp merchant location while unlocking exclusive offers in the process. The new mobile payment app will be integrated with both the First Trade Union Bank Debit Card and mobile app, and include a number of enhancements to deliver mobile banking experience. Consumers using the new FTUB mobile payment app can unlock exclusive rewards and immediately start paying with their phones at the more than 4,000 merchants who have signed on with LevelUp to date. Ultimately, the app's functionality is expected to be a win-win for the growing number of businesses using LevelUp's interchange zero network as FTUB will be launching exclusive offers designed to drive even more loyal customers through their doors. And it'll be a win for FTUB by introducing their brand to a large number of potential new account holders and adding a whole new set of value propositions to their existing user experience. The FTUB mobile payment app is scheduled to be available early 2013 for general consumer usage on any iPhone or Android device.

Netspend Holdings, Inc. and SCVNGR, Inc. Announce New Partnership

SCVNGR, Inc. announced a partnership with Netspend Holdings, Inc. that will offer a $10 incentive to consumers who link their NetSpend prepaid cards to their LevelUp accounts. Consumers using LevelUp can use their phones to make payments at more than 3,000 merchants nationwide. By linking their NetSpend prepaid cards to their LevelUp accounts, NetSpend cardholders will receive a $10 credit to their LevelUp accounts, on top of all of the discounts they receive for using LevelUp to make payments.
