Company Overview of National Symphony Orchestra
National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) organizes and conducts symphonic music concerts. NSO also imparts instruction in classical and contemporary music. In addition, it organizes seminars at libraries and senior centers, recorded program notes for persons with sight impairment, and rehearsals and professional development workshops for teachers. NSO is an artistic affiliate of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The Orchestra was incorporated in 1931 and is based in Washington, District of Columbia.
