Socialware and LinkedIn Collaborates on Social Media for Financial Services with New Profile Edit API

Socialware announced that it has collaborated with LinkedIn to extend their programming interfaces to accommodate the needs of the financial services industry. Social media profiles are considered advertising for financial professionals and must be reviewed by compliance before being published or changed. Socialware has continued to advocate to LinkedIn on behalf of financial services customers, the most recent result being the addition of a programming interface that allows social media management providers to publish profiles directly to LinkedIn on behalf of the user. Socialware continues to innovate new features and capabilities with its platform. Socialware was the first to introduce profile management capabilities to the market, and was first to market with capabilities like Campaigns, Account Delegation and Multi-step Review, which are requirements for regulated industries like financial services.

SoSocialware to Provide ING U.S. With Enterprise Support for Social

Socialware announced that it will support ING U.S. with an enterprise-wide deployment of Socialware's social media management platform built for regulated industries. This solution will enable ING U.S. employees and the more than 2,400 advisors affiliated with its registered broker-dealer to use social media to build relationships and share content while remaining compliant with the firm's policies. Socialware was selected after an extensive search for a provider that offered data security, compliance enforcement capabilities and the ability to integrate with highly-matrixed and sophisticated technology systems. Socialware will complement the technology deployment with its Professional Services team, which offers onboarding support and strategy for advisors. Socialware is built for organizations that need to support hundreds of employees on social as well as the many financial advisors who own the direct relationship with the client. It's the job of the organization to support these employees by supplying them with relevant content and campaigns that they can share with their social networks in order to nurture relationships. But it's also critical, particularly in a regulated industry like financial services, that the organization be able to establish and maintain compliance controls over what an employee is able to do on social. With Socialware, financial services companies can enable their relationship owners to have a presence on social without worrying about adhering to compliance policies and industry regulations. Because Socialware was built for the enterprise, it's built to scale and offers the security and implementation measures IT requires for an enterprise deployment.
