Scott Bowers has been named president and chief operating officer of Corizon. Corizon Receives Seven-Year, $1.1 Billion Contract to Care for Inmates in Missouri

Corizon was awarded a seven-year, $1.1 billion contract to care for inmates in Missouri. The deal is for three years with four potential one-year renewals, according to a statement from Corizon. The company will provide, medical, dental, pharmacy and mental health services to inmates at 23 correctional facilities throughout the state.

Corizon Inc. received a $372 million, three-year contract last year after the previous contractor had a similar incident.
