PlayHaven has added Rovio Entertainment's SVP of Marketing Ville Heijari to its executive team to build and lead the company's European operations. As the General Manager of Europe, Heijari will focus on furthering PlayHaven's footprint internationally and serving the needs of local mobile developers. Heijari brings more than 10 years of experience in the mobile industry to PlayHaven. He joined Rovio's management team at a period of significant growth for the company, helping grow Angry Birds into the large mobile gaming franchise.

PlayHaven announced that it has hired Charles Yim as its Chief Operating Officer. In this newly created role, Yim will lead strategic growth for the company and oversee international expansion, advertiser relations, developer relations, and business development. Yim was previously head of mobile application partnerships at Google, where he was responsible for driving adoption of Google's advertising technology portfolio including AdMeld, AdMob, AdSense and DoubleClick with mobile application developers.
