University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center won a federal contract valued at up to $9.95 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' National Institutes of Health, Rockville, Md., for research and development on preclinical efficacy and intermediate endpoint biomarkers.

Weill Medical College of Cornell University, New York, won a share of a $9.9 million federal contract from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' National Institutes of Health, Frederick, Md., for preclinical in vitro and in vivo agent development assays. ITT Research Institute, Chicago, Unversity of Alabama at Birmingham, Ala., and University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center shared in the award amount.
