In this role, Markovich will be responsible for expanding company's market share and leading position in IP test platforms used worldwide by network equipment manufacturers, service providers and enterprises. The product families delivered by this business unit include IP Multiservice test solutions, such as Hammer Edge(TM), IP Multimedia test solutions, such as Hammer G5(TM), and IP field test solutions, such as Hammer SIP Trunk Tester(TM). Rob will help advance company's growth and innovation as continue to offer unparalleled IP service quality assurance solutions to organizations around the world. Previously, Markovich was co-founder and executive at Service Level Management pioneer Visual Networks.

Verscom Managed Services has selected Empirix Inc.'s Hammer XMS to optimise network operations efficiency and assure a quality customer experience. No financial details were disclosed. According to the company, Verscom's Managed Wholesale Voice Interconnect platform hosts a large number of operators' outsourced wholesale applications, handling over 1.5 billion minutes per year over 300 different networks worldwide. A lack of visibility into these traffic volumes and issues with inter-carrier handoffs presented a challenge for the company's carrier voice services.
