KeyBank NA Appoints Norman Bliss as Senior Vice President and Director of Community Development in the Corporate Responsibility Segment

KeyBank NA announced that it has appointed Norman Bliss senior vice president and director of community development in its corporate responsibility segment. Bliss has nearly 25 years of banking examination experience and previously served as senior vice president and manager at FirstMerit Corp., where he was responsible for all aspects of corporate community reinvestment Act program. In his new role at KeyBank, Bliss will lead the oversight of the bank's community development lending, investment, and service activities nationwide, particularly as they pertain to the CRA exam.

Brian Rice to Leave KeyBank as Regional President on October 3, 2014 to Join Aequitas Capital Management as Executive Vice President

Brian Rice is leaving for a new position at Aequitas Capital Management. He will leave KeyBank on Oct. 3 after 12 years with the bank. Rice is the bank's regional president and oversees Oregon, Washington and Alaska. Rice worked at Wells Fargo and predecessor First Interstate for 13 years before joining KeyBank. At Aequitas he will be an executive vice president and oversee a relatively new wealth management arm. He will report to CEO Bob Jesenik.

KeyBank Consolidates its Upstate Operations; Hugh Donlon Exits as Capital Region Market President

KeyBank is organizing its New York state operations into a consolidated upstate region. Previously, KeyBank was organized into separate upstate regions: The Western New York Region, which included the Buffalo and Rochester markets, and the Eastern New York Region, which included Syracuse, Albany and the Hudson Valley. The regions had separate presidents leading them. Hugh Donlon, who had been the Capital Region market president since June 2013, is leaving KeyBank.
