Milano Finanza reported without naming sources that Gruppo Gavio SpA might be considering an option to expand its motorway network by acquiring Italian concessions in the portfolio of Impregilo SpA. According to the report, Gavio might be considering such acquisitions as an alternative to the takeover bid launched by Salini Costruttori S.p.A. for Impregilo. According to Milano Finanza, Gavio might be interested in Impregilo's stakes in Broni-Mortara and Tangenziale Est Esterna Milano (TEEM) motorways.
Salini Group Wins Trio of Contracts in Eastern Europe

Salini Costruttori S.p.A. as consolidated its leadership in the transport industry by winning three important motorway projects in Poland, Ukraine and Georgia, confirming its influential role in the infrastructure-development area. The contracts won in Ukraine and Georgia mark further Eastern European successes following the victory with Impregilo in Poland off the back of the two companies' Strategic Agreement. Completing the trio of new contracts in the transport sector, Todini Costruzioni Generali has been awarded two new projects in Ukraine and Georgia worth approximately EUR 273 million. The two initiatives precede the Strategic Agreement with the Impregilo Group.
