ChangeBASE AOK Announces Global Partnership With Getronics

Changebase Limited announces the signing of a global partnership agreement with Getronics. Getronics has been working with ChangeBASE on implementing AOK technology into its RDX (Rapid Deployment eXperience) methodologies to help clients upgrade to new operating environments such as Windows 7 and Application Virtualisation. This integration has now been completed and Getronics is in the process of rolling out this new service offering into its 18 countries and from its international remote management centers.

Eurocontrol Renews an IT Services Contract with Siemens IT Solutions and Services, Getronics and BT Global Services

Eurocontrol has renewed an IT services contract with a consortium of Siemens IT Solutions and Services, Getronics and BT Global Services. The new contract is worth around EUR 100 million and have an initial 5-year term, with two one-year options. The Siemens-led consortium has held the contract for Services five years and provides IT services for the management of Eurocontrol's service desk and infrastructure, plus the administration of networks, servers, storage systems and business applications.

Getronics NV Plans to Invest $20 Million in Latin America Operations in 2009

The Latin America division of Getronics NV plans to invest $20 million in 2009. The company announced that a large part of the funds will finance the expansion of the unit's workforce, which currently stands at 2,500 employees, by 25%. The company will hire 200 employees in Brazil, bringing the count to 800 workers. The company announced that many of the additional employees in Brazil will work at its two new centers, one of which will be in Salvador and the other will probably be in Campinas. Getronics Brazil and Latin America expects revenues to increase 20% in 2009.
