Baltimore Community Foundation Inc, The has elected Ellen N. Bernard, Wes Moore, and Paul C. Wolman III to its board of trustees. Raymond L. Bank was elected to chair the board, succeeding E. Robert Kent Jr., who has been named trustee emeritus. Bank, a trustee since 2008 who served as treasurer before being elected chair, is founder and principal of Raymond L. Bank & Associates and past president of the board of Gilman School. Bernard was a founding member and currently serves as co-chair of the Baltimore Women's Giving Circle. She also chairs the board of the Baltimore Choral Arts Society and is an officer of the Walters Art Museum and a member of OSI Baltimore's advisory council. Moore is a youth advocate, Army combat veteran, bestselling author of The Other Wes Moore, and host of "Beyond Belief" on the Oprah Winfrey Network. While a student at Johns Hopkins he founded STAND!, which works with Baltimore youth involved in the criminal justice system. Wolman is founder, chairman and CEO of Feats Inc. He chairs the Greater Baltimore Committee's Leadership Board and co-chairs the National Academy Foundation Leadership Advisory Council.

Baltimore Community Foundation Inc, The announced that Danista E.I. Hunte has been promoted to vice president, community investment. Hunte had been senior program officer, focusing on education, children and families. She joined BCF in 2000 with experience in program planning and management, health policy, advocacy, applied social research, and substance abuse prevention.
