Mr. Williams is joining Unisyn from GE Healthcare, where he served for 13 years in positions of increasing responsibility, including National Service Sales Manager. His most recent role at GE Healthcare included strategic business development for commercial sales teams focused on complex deal negotiation and strategy.
Unisyn Medical Technologies, Inc. announced that Julie Morris has been named to an expanded position of Vice President, QA/RA and Research & Development. Ms. Morris has led the quality and regulatory functions and managed Unisyn's extensive intellectual property portfolio since the company's formation in 2009. In her expanded role, Ms. Morris will add leadership of Unisyn's research and development organization, which is focused on the development of proprietary new tools and test equipment to expand capabilities in its core diagnostic imaging field service and ultrasound probe and parts repair businesses. Ms. Morris brings 25 years of design, development, manufacturing and quality engineering management experience to Unisyn. Prior to Unisyn, Ms. Morris led the quality and regulatory group at Sonora Medical Systems, one of Unisyn's legacy companies and a leading developer of proprietary tools and test equipment for the ultrasound industry. Ms. Morris has a mechanical engineering background and, prior to Sonora, worked in variety of engineering and management roles at Fischer Imaging, Product Safety Engineering, Evenflo and others.
