Prezzo plc (AIM:PRZ) reportedly eye Strada Ltd. of Tragus Ltd. Prezzo is understood to be among a pack of suitors assembling bids for the company. Tragus required a financial bail-out after it was saddled with £325 million of debt used to finance a takeover by Blackstone, the private equity house in 2006. It is expected to face rival interest from private equity and well-known entrepreneurs such as Richard Caring, whose Caprice Holdings group.

Tragus Ltd's (Tragus Group), the owner of the Café Rouge Limited (Cafe Rouge) and Strada Ltd. (Strada) is preparing a sweeping financial restructuring that will result in the break-up of one of the UK’s biggest restaurant operators. Sky News has learnt that Tragus Group is considering the launch of company voluntary arrangements (CVAs) that would enable it to shed or restructure some of its rent obligations at Cafe Rouge and Bella Italia, another of its businesses. It is also poised to launch a sale process for Strada. Restaurant industry sources said that Tragus could make an announcement about the restructuring proposals as soon as June 4, 2014. Zolfo Cooper, a professional services firm, is understood to have been lined up to oversee the financial overhaul. Spokespeople for Tragus and Zolfo Cooper declined to comment.
