Aspect Imaging Introduces FlowScan(TM) Continuous Drilling Fluid Measurement Platform
Mar 5 14
Aspect Imaging is introducing its FlowScan(TM) Continuous Drilling Fluid Measurement Platform at the 2014 International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC)/SPE Annual Drilling Conference in Fort Worth, Texas. The meeting is being held from March 4, 2014 - March 6, 2014 at the Fort Worth Convention Centre in Fort Worth, Texas. The measurement and maintenance of the quality of drilling mud is a key component to the cost-effective drilling of new oil wells. Conventional methods for monitoring and measuring the quality of drilling mud are based on manual processes that are prone to error, measure only small samples and frequently clog. The FlowScan(TM) platform enables a new measurement paradigm as it is non-obstructive (measures directly through the pipe), is automated, provides continuous measurements, and enables a wide array of fluid measurements including drilling mud rheology, flow rates, and water cut on a single platform.
Aspect Imaging Announces its M2 3D MR-Based Histology Platform at the Annual Meeting of Japanese Society of Toxicological Pathology in Tokushima, Japan
Jan 31 14
Aspect Imaging is featuring its M2 3D MR-based Histology platform at the 30th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Toxicological Pathology in Tokushima, Japan in the commercial exhibits, in a new technology workshop and as part of the scientific sessions. The 30 Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Toxicological Pathology (JSTP) is being held from January 30 - 31st, 2014 at the Awagin Hall in the Tokushima Arts Foundation For Culture in Tokushima, Japan. Non-destructive quantification of 3D structures allows specimens to be imaged and subsequently sectioned for conventional histopathology. With the company's platform, the application of 3D MRI-based histology is now a practical, affordable tool for use in drug development and safety assessment.
Aspect Imaging Launches New Family of Compact High-Performance MRI Systems at World Molecular Imaging Congress 2013
Sep 18 13
Aspect Imaging launched a complete line of compact MRI systems for a wide variety of pre-clinical applications. The three 'M'-series compact MRI systems include the M10, a new compact MRI model for pre-clinical imaging of larger species and the M3, a new compact MRI model for imaging of mice for phenotypic research. The 2 new models complement the 3D MR-based Histology system for toxicology research as well as the current M2 platform, which is being used in the Bruker ICON compact MRI system, a leading compact MRI system for mouse and rat-based pre-clinical research and drug development. The launch is taking place at the WMIC (World Molecular Imaging Congress) 2013 Annual Meeting, being held September 18 - 21, 2013 in Savannah, GA. The Aspect Imaging compact MRI platform, unlike conventional superconducting MRI systems, does not require a shielded room, cryogens, specialty plumbing or high-capacity electrical power. The 'M'-series platform features an innovative self-shielded, permanent magnet that can be placed in most settings as it does not require special infrastructure. As such, it provides the researcher or core imaging facility manager with the power of MRI but at a fraction of the cost and without the complexity and ongoing maintenance of superconducting and cryogen-free MRI installations. The three 'M'-series compact MRI systems will be on display in Aspect Imaging's booth #422 at the WMIC Exhibition Hall at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center in Savannah, GA from September 18 - 21, 2013. As an illustration of the ease of installation and placement of the Aspect MRI platform, a live ICON compact high-performance MRI system (powered by the Aspect Imaging M2 platform) will also be demonstrating pre-clinical phenotyping in the Bruker booth (#421).
