Leading Edge Aviation Services, Inc. Announces Management Changes

Leading Edge Aviation Services, Inc. announced that it has promoted Chris Harano, 49, from President to Chief Executive Officer. Leading Edge founder and former Chief Executive Officer, Mike Manclark, will remain with the company as non-executive Chairman. Harano originally joined Leading Edge to spearhead the company's strategic growth into new Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and manufacturing markets both domestically and globally. Previously, Harano was President of InsulTech. The company also announced that it has appointed Daniel Zeddy, 59, as its Chief Financial Officer. Zeddy has more than 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, human resources and information technology as well as 20 years of experience in lean manufacturing programs.

Leading Edge Aviation Services, Inc. announced that Rod Friese has been named its Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new role, Rod will expand on his leadership as President of Associated Painters and champion the substantial growth and industry positioning of the newly merged companies. As COO, Rod will oversee all business operations at each facility, determine and implement the best practices already in play at each, and align the business operations of two companies as one. Rod brings to Leading Edge boots-on-the-ground experience in aircraft painting, high-end customer care, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing and business programs, having entered the industry first as an aircraft painter for 5 years at Boeing, then as the 25-year business owner and President of Associated Painters.
