Bona Netto, has chosen SmartLabs, Inc. to drive its ambitious goals to develop the company's interactive television business. SmartLabs has announced a contract with the Spanish operator Bona Netto for the supply and implementation of an integrated solution to deliver IPTV and OTT services to various subscriber markets. The main component of the solution is SmartTUBE SDP, a converged service delivery platform. Also, SmartLabs will deliver SML-282 Base and SML-292 Premium STBs to the operator. SmartLabs solution will provide the operator with all the features needed to drive its interactive TV services.

SmartLabs, Inc. won the tender to supply IPTV set-top boxes to MTS. Based on an open request for proposals with prequalification, in the nearest future the company will provide to the operator a batch of advanced SML-292 HD Premium STBs. This is going to be the second delivery of this model to MTS and the third operator's contract for SmartLabs IPTV set-top boxes. SmartLabs SML-292 Premium STBs will empower MTS customers with the most advanced interactive entertainment. In addition to supporting the highest picture quality (HDTV and 3DTV), the STBs have embedded HDDs offering access to a variety of Value Added Services, such as Local PVR, PushVoD, Pause LiveTV, recording, storing and playback of user generated content.

Mobile Telesystems OJSC and CIS, is gradually developing its interactive digital TV offering under the MTS Home TV brand. As a result of an open tender, the operator has chosen SML-292 set-top boxes produced by SmartLabs, as they fully meet the MTS requirements in terms of functionality, reliability and quality. Earlier in spring of this year SmartLabs has successfully implemented a contract for the supply to MTS of IPTV set-top boxes SML-282. The SmartLabs SML-292 Premium IPTV set-top box supports Full HD (1920x1080) and enables enhanced connectivity of external devices via two USB ports, optical SPDIF, HDMI with HDCP, and other interfaces. Moreover, the set-top boxes are fully compatible with HDTV and 3D TVs and projectors. Support of the smart Adaptive Streaming technology makes the set-top box compatible with the OTT solutions. With SML-292 the customers of MTS Home TV can get a wider range of IPTV services. This is possible because SML-292 Premium has an embedded hard drive to enable even more value-added services (Local PVR, PushVoD, PauseLiveTV). The subscribers of MTS Home TV can purchase or lease the set-top boxes.
