Business Roundtable Names Betsy Andres as Senior Director

Business Roundtable named veteran Capitol Hill communicator Betsy Andres as Senior Director. Andres, who currently serves as Director of Media Affairs for U.S. House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), will help guide strategic communications, media relations and member communications for the association of chief executive officers of leading U.S. companies. Andres brings years of Capitol Hill leadership experience to Business Roundtable. She served for more than five years in Speaker Boehner’s communications office, where she managed broadcast media appearances and directed the official press advance operation. While in the Speaker’s office, Andres coordinated several notable, high-profile broadcast stories that highlight the history and inner workings of Congress and the Speaker’s office. Andres was also responsible for facilitating the media logistics for the President’s annual State of the Union Address and the subsequent Republican response to the nation. In addition to her work in the Speaker’s office, Andres spent time in the communications offices of the House Republican Conference and the House Ways and Means Committee. Andres’s experience also includes political campaigns, having served as Deputy Press Secretary for the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Business Roundtable Names Jessica Boulanger as Senior Vice President of Communications

Business Roundtable announced that Jessica Boulanger has been named Senior Vice President of Communications. Boulanger joined the Roundtable in October 2012 as Vice President of Communications. In her new role, Boulanger will lead all of the Business Roundtable communications strategy, including directing the association's media relations, digital outreach, advertising and member communications efforts. Before joining Business Roundtable, Boulanger served for four years as vice president at New Media Strategies. Her experience also includes communications director for the National Republican Congressional Committee.
