It primarily focuses on the areas of civil justice reform; corporate governance; the digital economy; education and workforce; environment, technology and economy; fiscal policy; health and retirement; international trade and investment; and security. The association was founded in 1972 and is based in Washington, District of Columbia.

Business Roundtable Names Jessica Boulanger as Senior Vice President of Communications

Business Roundtable announced that Jessica Boulanger has been named Senior Vice President of Communications. Boulanger joined the Roundtable in October 2012 as Vice President of Communications. In her new role, Boulanger will lead all of the Business Roundtable communications strategy, including directing the association's media relations, digital outreach, advertising and member communications efforts. Before joining Business Roundtable, Boulanger served for four years as vice president at New Media Strategies. Her experience also includes communications director for the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Business Roundtable Announces Executive Changes Effective Jan. 1, 2014

Business Roundtable (BRT) announced that Randall Stephenson, Chairman and CEO of AT&T has been named Chairman of BRT, effective Jan. 1, 2014. Stephenson will serve for a two-year term. He succeeds Jim McNerney, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of The Boeing Company, who has led the organization since September 2011.
