iShares Asia Trust - iShares MSCI China Index ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by BlackRock Asset Management North Asia Limited. The fund invests in the public equity markets of China. It invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund primarily invests in stocks of companies across all market capitalizations. It seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI China Index by investing in stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. The fund was formerly known as iShares Asia Trust - iShares MSCI China Tracker. iShares Asia Trust - iShares MSCI China Index ETF was formed on November 16, 2001 and is domiciled in Hong Kong.
